Our Philosophy
Child - led, heart focused.
At Nurture Nest Preschool, we’re proud to provide a caring and safe environment for your children. We believe that learning through play helps a child develop holistically through social-emotional learning, developing confidence and motivation, and practicing cognitive skills. Following a play-based approach to early childhood education we create a nurturing, stimulating and welcoming learning environment for all children.

The child's point of view is respected and the student is encouraged to follow their own educational path. It is believed that a child's driving sense of curiosity, along with their inherent potential will foster an interest in learning, allowing them to learn and succeed long-term. It is that curiosity and potential that should ultimately set the path and the direction that any and all learning will follow.

Our Learning Spaces
Nurture Nest Preschool
Here at Nurture Nest we have three areas that are equipped with endless learning possibilities. The main classroom, the backyard, and the light room.
The Main Classroom
The main classroom is furnished and stocked with plenty of open ended materials and tools to foster a world of imagination and stimulate endless opportunities for cooperative play with classmates. This is where we will do circle time, snack time, read-a-louds, and free play in any way the children see fit. The main living space also includes a small dining area where the children will have snacks, and where we will have group art projects for everyone to take part in.
The Backyard
Our outdoor space is one of our favorite spaces here at Nurture Nest. Equipped with a mud kitchen, treehouse with a slide and rock wall, and flower garden with picnic table. We plan to expand our outdoor space even more by including a construction zone equipped with building materials and a sand box with digging tools! Stay tuned for that to come!
The Light Room
Our light room will be a space where the children have full range over their creative experiences with light and sensory materials. The children will be able to work with light and shadows through our projector, light table, and magnetic light wall. Sensory materials will also be available in our indoor sensory table for the children to get their hands in a variety of fun materials.

Ashten Robinson
There are so many people in the world who never have the opportunity to pursue the career they love. I am lucky enough to be doing something that I absolutely love and enjoy doing. I have always loved working with children from a very early age so starting a preschool is truly a dream come true. I’m thrilled to say that I’ve learned from so many trained professionals in my field, and continue to learn alongside my students. Children can truly be the greatest teachers, they inspire me daily to be the best mentor and guide I can be for them.
